This Privacy Policy applies to the Smart Shop Guide app for mobile devices, together with any related services operated by Freund GmbH (collectively, the “Application”). Freund GmbH is referred to in this policy as the “Service Provider”.

What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?

The Application does not collect, log, or store personal information when you download and use it. Registration is not required.

When the Application is used with an active internet connection, technical protocol data such as an ephemeral IP address may be transmitted as part of ordinary network communication. The Service Provider does not retain this data or use it for tracking.

Precise location information

The Application does not collect precise real-time location information from your mobile device.

Third-party access

Because the Application does not collect personal information through normal use, the Service Provider does not share such information with third parties.

No stored app data

Data Retention

Smart Shop Guide does not collect or store personal information from normal use of the Application on servers operated by the Service Provider. As a result, there is no personal app-use data retained by the Service Provider and there is no retention period for such data.

If you choose to contact the Service Provider directly by email or another communication channel, the information you voluntarily provide may exist in that communication channel for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request or to meet applicable legal obligations.

No app data to delete

Data Deletion

Because the Application does not collect or store personal information from normal app use, the Service Provider has no personal app-use data to delete from its systems.

If you voluntarily provide personal information by contacting Freund directly, you may request deletion of that information by emailing support@freund.ink. Requests will be handled subject to applicable legal requirements and any information that Freund is legally required to retain.

Opt-out rights

Since the Application does not collect personal information through normal use, no account or tracking opt-out process is required. Uninstalling the Application removes it from your device.

Children

The Application is not intended for children under 13 years of age, or a higher minimum age where required by applicable law. The Service Provider does not knowingly solicit personal data from children or market to them.

Because the Application does not collect personal information through normal use, children’s personal information is not collected by the Application itself. If a child voluntarily provides personal information through another communication channel, any required parental or guardian consent must be provided where applicable.

Security

Because the Application does not collect personal data through normal use, the risk of exposure of such data through the Application is limited. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and the Service Provider applies reasonable safeguards to systems and information it may hold.

Data Breach Notification

Since the Application does not collect personal data through normal use, the risk of a breach affecting personal app-use data is minimal. If a breach affects information you voluntarily provided through another channel, the Service Provider will provide notice where required by applicable law.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

The Service Provider may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page together with an updated effective date. Where applicable law requires consent for a material change, the Service Provider will seek it before the change takes effect.
